Happy Cats has been serving the community and surrounding areas since 1970, providing professional care for your feline friend/s and continues to remain a family owned business.

Happy Cats cattery is located on a rural farmlet, 5.5 klms from the Bairnsdale RSL Entertainment centre, along the Forge Creek Road.

Look for the "Happy Cats" sign.

Happy Cats Cattery is exclusively for cats, located in a central position to Bairnsdale and Paynesville.

The business has been relocated to a new spacious building with added convenience for you and your pet.

Kelly, the owner/operator, lives onsite which allows constant contact with your precious feline friends.

With a background of involvement with the family's Gambelon Kennels, Kelly's love of animals took her on to a career in Animal Technology which also involved working as a rescue officer for the R.S.P.C.A. in Adelaide.

As an active volunteer for animal welfare, a highlight of Kelly's career was a working holiday in Zimbabwe, working with endangered lions.

Facilities and Services

The Facility has been built exclusively for Cats and has been designed to provide a secure, comfortable homely environment.

The Cattery is insulated, large and spacious with walk-in pens of various sizes, many adjoining protected outdoor pens.

Each room contains a separate sleeping area complete with a comfy bed and heat pad for the colder months, toys and scratchy post. The pens also include a viewing platform that enables quiet reflection amongst the greenery and spacious atmosphere with calming surround music and water fountains.

Happy Cats provides excellent care in a comfy, safe and spacious environment at the same time giving owners peace of mind in their absence. 

Our emphasis is to give your pet lots of attention to ensure a "Happy Stay".
